The 2021 Ride For Clean Energy totals

It’s been a little over a week since the 2021 Ride For Clean Energy. Since the ride, our organizers have been hard at work tallying the fundraising totals, and as with all years, we are blown away!

With a total of 56 registered riders, the total for the 9th annual Ride For Clean Energy is… $17,486.69!

Thank you everyone for helping to contribute to another successful edition of the Ride For Clean Energy.

We are so thrilled to be able to add this to our contributions to helping fund clean energy research projects via The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation (TLCERF).

The TLCERF will be meeting later this fall to determine grant recipients for this year, and your fundraising efforts will undoubtedly play a huge role in ensuring we are able to grant as much money as possible to deserving research projects aimed at creating a more sustainable plant.

We would also like to take this opportunity to shout and thank all our amazing sponsors for this year’s ride:

  • Trek Maple Ridge
  • Dr. Patrick O’Brien of RBC Dominion Securities
  • Kintec Maple Ridge
  • Tru-Earth

Also, thank you to all our amazing volunteers who work very hard behind the scenes to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible before, during and after the ride. Your contributions are invaluable and the Ride wouldn’t be possible without you.

Lastly, thank you all for riding and fundraising. The riding and fundraising is the heartbeat of the ride and TLCERF, ensuring that every year the foundation has the ability to fund exciting new lean energy projects. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for participating in a cause that we are very passionate about.

Here’s to hoping next year we can get back to our regular format for the ride.

Until then, stay safe and keep riding,

Ride For Clean Energy
